I'm Kaila (ky-la)

First off, I want to be your FRIEND PLEASEEEE! I abso-freakin-lutely love my job, and part of that is because I get to meet so many people that I wouldn’t otherwise have the opportunity to meet. We were created to be in community and relationship with one another and I want to know YOU! Whether you’re a bride + groom, photographer, creative, shop owner, fashion-lover, hat obsessor - whoever you are - I want to build connections with you and I WANT TO TAKE YOUR PIXXXXOXO!

So here's the thing, I'm a firm believer in complimenting people. If I like something, why not say it out loud to bring a smile to someone else's face and help them recognize their own beauty. Photography allows me to tell someone how beautiful they are without using words. Honestly I think we’re all cute and quirky, and my camera helps me show others how to embrace how fearfully and wonderfully they were made by a perfect Creator. I am here to serve you, to love you, and to allow you to feel like the beautiful person you are!

This is the no stranger zone, I want to hangout and get to know you so that I can create images that truly compliment you. I know having your pictures taken is kind of really intimidating but I promise I'll make it so fun. In case ya missed it on my home page, this handsome guy is my high school sweetheart turned husband in July 2018! He finally decided to jump in and join the Kartsie team full time and it’s the best. We’ve been best friends for eleven years since the 11th grade and it’s an absolute dream getting to work + travel together all the time! He’s hilarious + witty, incredibly smart, obsessed with animals, crazy talented (one of those annoying people that’s good at everything he tries LOL) and the best human I know. TBH we’re a pretty good team ♥
